It’s become an annual tradition to ring in my Mom’s birthday from the rooftop of the Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver. The past two years they’ve helped me celebrate my Mom in the most fabulous way, with a day of pampering and relaxation at Shangri-La’s CHI Spa. I could never say no to a spa day, but I am so happy to have the opportunity to give back to the woman who gave me absolutely everything.
To be completely honest, this year hasn’t exactly been the easiest so we went all-out. Mom and I indulged in eucalyptus steam showers (which I would totally recommend to ease into relaxation), a 90 minute massage, champagne with a view and the most delicious lava cake I’ve ever had!
