If you’ve followed me for a while you know that we spend a lot of our downtime on the Southern Gulf Islands. My husbands family has a cabin there and we’ve been lucky enough to get to visit as much as we can over the last ten years. It’s a short ferry ride, only an hour & a half away from our home in Vancouver and absolutely stunning.
Since we only stayed for the weekend, we packed light, brought lots of yummy food and parked on the beach basically the entire time. The only other things we accomplished while we were there was hike one of our favourite trails to a view of the ocean and had breakfast, visited the farmers market on Saturday and found a cute little roadside flower stand.
