Last weekend I joined Mogo for a very special Sunday School…. one that included BC wine! If you haven’t heard of Mogo, then it’s time to get schooled because they are changing the way we look at banking & finance. Mogo is building a financial brand that is transforming how Canadians access, manage, and control credit by leveraging both technology and design. In a nutshell, they’re jam is how to #uncreditcardyourlife!
Last Sunday we enjoyed the afternoon at Mogo: Adulting 101 X Vancouver Urban Winery‘s Sunday School for a little afternoon finance session with financial literacy expert, Chantel Chapman. Part of being a business owner means keeping on top of your finances and I definitely appreciated the tips & money saving tricks that were shared & discussed at the session. It really made me realize how careless our tech-savvy generation is with our spending!
What I loved is that Mogo goes one step further than simply encouraging its members to “Do More, Spend Less”. Mogo presents its members with the tools to their financial freedom: from long-term unsecured loans to lines of credit to Canada’s only free Prepaid Visa Card with no monthly fee, to Mogo’s signature Level Up program providing members a pathway out of debt. Mogo membership is absolutely free and offers members access to MogoPerks, including exclusive access to giveaways, events and parties in key markets across Canada.
This Sunday School session was a refreshing way to look at finance & everyday banking, and being an official taste tester to all that delicious local wine wasn’t too bad either! Just another take on how Mogo is doing things differently. Here’s a recap of our session:
Thank you Mogo Financial Technologies for sponsoring this post, all opinions are my own.
