It’s no surprise when it comes to beauty, I prefer it in its most natural state. Sure I love a bright, bold lip as much as the next girl but when it comes to the care and consistency of my beauty regime I tend to lean au-naturel, all the way. I like my makeup to look light and effortless and my skincare routine to be on lock.

About a year ago I worked with a company called Plume Science, on the launch campaign for their 100% natural lash enhancing serum (see our past post, here). After weeks of testing the product I quickly began to notice a difference and growth in my lashes. I personally can’t get into fake lashes so getting some help to grow and thicken my own seemed like the way to go for me. Since Plume’s initial launch, they’ve made waves in the beauty industry leading the green beauty revolution to retailers like Nordstrom, Project Skin, and Beauty Mark and online at EcoDiva Beauty, Free People and Revolve to name a few. If you aren’t yet familiar with the company’s founder Lauren Bilon, you need to get acquainted with her story because it’s a good one! The company was born from a need to protect her own eye health after experiencing significant hair and eyelash loss after the birth of her son. Lauren had been experiencing harmful side effects from using a pharmaceutical product intended to help regrow her lashes, and while they did grow back it didn’t happen without painful side effects. With the goal of providing women with a safe and natural way to enhance and protect their lashes, the Lash Serum was born. I gravitated towards this brand because of the work they do but also because of Lauren’s story.

With the success of their Lash Serum, paved the way for a new product to be added to their roster – Plume’s Nourish & Define Brow Pomade is an all-in-one product that helps sculpt, fill and add texture to your brows purely with 100% natural ingredients.

I’m fair haired so my brows were never a prominent feature of my face. My hair is super fine and blonde so my eyebrow game has been pretty much non-existent up until a few months ago. I’ve specifically made an effort to not use multiple products throughout the testing period, because I wanted to be sure that the pomade was in fact doing it’s job. After all, “natural” beauty products don’t always have the greatest reputation as an effective, long-lasting solution to your beauty blunders. This is different – the idea being that you can use the pomade to help get the brows of your desire while active ingredients promote the actual growth of the brows, so that eventually you can use less. LOVE. IT. I work from home, so starting the day with little things like doing my brows or dressing for the day make all the difference in my mood and positivity.
