Woohoo! It’s fiiiiinally here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the biggest (and best) sales of the year. For a very limited time, new fall items are released at significantly slashed prices, only to go back up when the sale ends on August 7th. – KEY ITEMS FOR FALL –

Ankle Booties: Who doesn’t love a great boot! I love to invest in a new pair every season because once I buy them, I pretty much live in them through the winter. Nordstrom has a great selection of neutral ankle booties perfect to be paired with your favourite pair of denim. I fell in love with this pretty pair with a small block heel (perfect for date night out on the town), but for everyday these studded fringe booties (under $100) and these cutout booties took the cake.

Fall Denim: Nothing says fall like a cozy cardigan and a fresh pair of denim. I’m still loving all the distressed styles and these four were my very favourite of the bunch. I love the light ($58) – medium ($44) washes that serve as a great transition pair as we shift from summer to fall.

Sweaters: I mentioned in my wishlist that I would be looking for some new sweaters in the sale. I found a handful of similar styles that I LOVE – All cozy, oversized cardigans that would look amazing with the denim and ankle booties I just bought! Come the cooler weather, I know I’ll be craving items like these to keep me cozy + warm. Love this lighter grey color ($79) and how this one is a little lighter in fabric.

Beauty Finds + Accessories: watches, bangles, scarves and neutral toned polishes are huge for this fall. This neutral palette from Butter is really pretty (set of 6 for $39). Also – this is a great time to re-stock your Clarisonic brush heads while they’re on sale, too. I can’t stand to wear falsies so this lash enhancing serum sits high on my list of beauty finds to try.

Handbags: since this post seemed to revolve heavily around neutral tones, I decided to keep it simple and chose this beautiful cognac bucket bag (only $31 and complete with tassel drawstrings), a Tory Burch tote bag (great for travel) and this Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag.
