SPA DAY

There’s nothing better than a spa day, especially mid-week! Yesterday my girlfriend, Camilla and I got to spend some time relaxing and got pampered at CHI, The Spa at the Shangri-La Hotel in Vancouver. We were absolutely spoiled! Some of you may know Camilla as the voice behind Nordstrom Vancouver’s social media channels, plus she’s also got a new business about to launch and packing up to make the move to Toronto. Since she is moving back East in two weeks, it was only necessary that we drop everything and give her a proper farewell send-off of rest, catch-up and relaxation.

We spent the morning lounging around the rooftop pool and cabanas, enjoyed yummy healthy smoothies and took in the view – which by the way is absolutely amazing. Rooftop cabanas, a beautiful pool and jacuzzi nestled right in the middle of skyscrapers. After some time by the pool we indulged in a delicious lunch before heading to our individual treatments.

The Spa is stunning. Each suite comes with its own fireplace, private bath, shower, relaxation lounge, changing room and vanity area (you can see more on my snapchat: sydneysocias). Camilla and I both had the West Coast Wrap treatment followed by a 90-minute West Coast Wave Message and it was absolute heaven.
