While neutral lip’s are technically on trend year-round, this spring they’ve never looked better. Lipstick is always the magic finishing touch that pulls a whole look together and spring (to me) screams soft pastels, pretty pinks and barely there nudes.
I use to struggle to find the right shades for my skin tone and hair colour and have only recently taken my time to build up the perfect combination of creamy matte shades. Scroll down for a few tips I’ve learned on finding your perfect shade:
Tips to picking your perfect nude shade:
— pick a color that’s close to your skin tone but doesn’t match it exactly
— go for something with a hint of peach or pink
— line your lips with pencil to define the shape & extend the wear of whatever is placed on top (I used to be scared of this, but it really works)
