Pairing comfortable (and stylish) footwear with business casual workwear is a daily necessity. Heels just aren’t a realistic option for this girl so typically I reply on a great pair of Spring flats (love these tassel flats and these) for a polished look, flat boots or if I’m feeling really daring I’ll reach for wedge espadrilles.
Now that Spring is in full-swing the unpredictable rain is as well, so I’ve been keeping my Hunter rain boots close, by storing a pair in my car in case of emergency. That way I can easily swap them in if the weather takes a turn for the worst.. and there’s nothing worse than getting your favourite pumps ruined!
A pretty patterned blouse (I love this one’s neck tie) and distressed denim work perfectly together for a relaxed, business casual look that even went well with my boots. I would finish off the look with a structured blazer or black trench coat, perfect for a busy day in the city and appropriate from day to dinner.
