I’ve been using Rodial’s ‘revenge’ glamstick (lipstick) since I got it in a swag bag from last year’s Fashion + Beauty Conference in LA, and its become a regular staple in my bag so I was totally game to try out their new Blusher color pop powder.
The color pop powders come in two shades: South Beach and Copacabana. South Beach has a pink tone for a lighter pop of color and Copacabana is more of a bright coral, peachy shade. I don’t usually wear a ton of makeup, but especially in the warmer months starting in Spring I like a more natural look. The color pop line is perfect for Summer months because the formula offers an instant healthy glow and has oil absorption abilities so you have more control throughout the day (especially if your skin tends to be on the oiler side).
I also tried their Airbrush make-up foundation paste. The word ‘foundation’ has always scared me a little and I’ve always been cautious to avoid the ‘caked-on’ look when using any type of concealer or foundation – this product is different. It’s great for achieving flawless, photo-ready skin with an airbrush effect. I won’t lie, the thick creamy paste was a little intimidating for the first go, but after my regular cleansing routine I applied a very light layer (to apply: blend directly on skin using airbrush foundation brush for instant airbrush correction) and I was actually surprised at how lightweight it felt on my skin.
Have you used Rodial cosmetics before? I would love to hear your favourite products!
