Last Thursday I left Vancouver for a quick work trip to attend a fashion + beauty conference as well as a couple meetings for a few upcoming projects. The weekend was a whirlwind to say the least that began from the plane, to my Uber to the Beverly Hills hotel to shoot a fun campaign for Charme Silkiner, a super fresh jewelry brand out of Los Angeles. Her pieces are dainty, simple and timeless, with this collections‘ details stemming from mediterranean vibes of the Greek islands.
I’m currently writing my travel tips from this trip as well as working on a photo journal from the weekend, so be sure to check back for those posts coming later this week. Shooting at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel was so inspiring, the grounds are draped in lush greenery and bursting bougenvillias hang from all the private bungalows surrounding the hotel property. I loved all the pastel pinks and rich green shades of the palm trees and tropical plants. Especially loved the palm print wallpaper lining the hallways of the main hotel!!!
Kept this look simple and sophisticated in an easy Aritzia ‘Grignard’ romper, Soludos wedge espadrille sandal and Forever21 tote (*under $40!). Wanting to keep my look minimal yet finished, I completed the look with two delicate pieces from Charme Silkiner’s latest collection (wearing this and this).
