This time of year can always be tricky – one day it’s pouring rain and the next it’s blue skies. To keep things simple I’ve been relying on a few staple pieces to help transition into Spring. Every woman (no matter her age) should have at least one trench coat in her closet. It makes even jeans look polished, it’s appropriate for work and at night, it’s perfect over a LBD. There are so many slightly altered variations I’m loving right now including the one I wore to my Valentine’s Day brunch last week. I paired it with cute patterned slacks (a steal at $29 from H&M), black pumps, a white knit pullover and a pop of blue.
