LOS ANGELES TRAVEL RECAP

Screen Shot 2016-03-31 at 12.35.25 PM I recently flew to L.A. for a few days of meetings, a Fashion & Beauty conference and a fun project (read about that here) and since I’ve been home it’s been all about playing catch-up… sadly. I promised to do a recap of my trip so here it goes!

Because I was travelling alone, it was very important to me that my hotel was in a central location and within walking distance to many of the restaurants, shops and places on my list. After doing a little research, I found a boutique hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills that fit the bill. Located on Wilshire Blvd., SIXTY Hotel is right down the street from Rodeo Drive, lots of cool restaurants and shopping, a short distance away from The Grove and a 5 minute taxi to West Hollywood. I packed a lot into only 3 days and with all the walking I did it was really nice to enjoy the rooftop pool and patio before heading out to dinner. A stunning 360 degree view welcomes you at the top of the hotel, where you can lounge by the pool or relax with a book underneath the cabanas.

After getting into Los Angeles on Day 1, shooting on location at the Beverly Hills hotel with jewelry brand Charme Silkiner, doing a little sightseeing (and obviously a trip to my beloved Lemonade!) I headed to a special welcome dinner that The Belvedere had arranged for me on my first night in town. Words cannot describe how incredibly delicious everything I tried was, the head Chef absolutely spoiled me brining plate after plate to my table for me to test. It was incredible! Not to mention top-notch service and the beautifully, newly-renovated space. I can’t wait to bring my husband next time when the outdoor patio space is completed… the photos don’t even do it justice.
