If you follow my Instagram account, you may have seen 2 of the 5 looks that I curated for this month’s MACCS Lookbook. It was featured on their website earlier this week & I couldn’t be more pleased with how the project turned out. In case you missed it, you can view the entire Lookbook here, and I’ve included some additional shots below. MACCS is an online shop that launched last October, founded by Tessa Maccormac Garcia, also known for her Cake for Breakfast blog & shop. Another online shop to bookmark! I’ve been keeping tabs on MACCS since their launch because they carry a lot of amazing items similar to those I’ve seen in fashion magazines or on Pinterest but can’t ever seem to locate in Vancouver.
For the Spring Lookbook I wanted to channel a pretty, but powerful mix of bright whites, clean lines, & abstract details. I went with the Madison Lace Skirt and New York Grey Coat because I felt these pieces could be worked into my regular 9-5 office-wear but the playsuits for spring-time were so much fun! And I can’t forget the black dress; a different take on the modern-day LBD. For a more polished look I paired it with a structured blazer over top keeping it stylish & sophisticated.
Coco Blazer | Madison Lace Skirt
Tee from Joe Fresh
New York Grey Coat | Button Down from Joe Fresh | Wristwatch from Daniel Wellington
Kate Playsuit | Notting Hill Cardigan (on sale now!)
These are the slouchy sweaters I’d dream of in University. Super cozy but super chic. The cardi gives a more muted look to the busy Kate playsuit, if your usually one to stay away from prints.
Carissa Dress | Coco Blazer | Isabell Sunglasses I hope you enjoyed the looks I created for this Lookbook. Follow along with MACCS on Instagram & Twitter for future lookbooks and new arrivals.
