My overnight bag is packed and today I’m taking off across the border with my Mom and sister for a little pre-birthday celebration. I’m so excited to get some quality girl time, do some shopping, go out to yummy dinners and just hang for two days in the states. Being from Vancouver, it’s only a short half hour drive to Bellingham and only a little further before you hit Bellevue and soon after, Seattle. In short, some good shopping at the outlets and Ill take ANY excuse for a trip to the Container Store.

My (30th) birthday is coming up quick and this year I will be lucky enough to celebrate with my husband on a special trip to Spain…but more on that later. For now wanted to share a little quick-trip packing list and my new favourite casuals. This bomber jacket is now on sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (this one too) and these comfy leggings are my new go-to’s from Aritzia (only $22). I love this look because it’s so functional and is perfect for those days when you need to do-it-all, from running errands at the grocery store to the gym and everything in between. Plus, (major plus here) it’s the most easy, comfortable, no fuss uniform I know I’ll be wearing lots of this fall.
