MORNING AT TRUVELLE

Welcome July! I am officially at the six week mark until my wedding day! (!!!) There has been a ton of development made recently with lots of details finally falling into place. One of my favorite parts of the process has been figuring out how I’ll style my look for each occasion leading up to THE day. One of the biggest challenges for me was whether I wanted to go with something more full and traditional or modern and whimsical.

Last week I had the opportunity to meet with the team at Truvelle Bridal, at their beautiful loft-style studio in the heart of Gastown. I was so excited to meet with founder/designer Gabby and her wonderful team to view their bridal collection and try on a few gowns. Here, I have on four of my favorite styles from the day, all veering more towards that modern/whimsical look.

Although none of these are the dress I will be wearing the day of my wedding, they gave me the opportunity to explore other styles I’d always been curious to try. And the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We’ve been so busy with life and enjoying our long-engagement so much we forgot to capture it! The very next day after my visit to Truvelle, along with our wedding photographer we planned an ocean-side shoot at golden hour – you’ll have to guess which gown I wore! Cannot wait to share some sneek peeks of how it all turned out.
