This weekend was by far one of my busiest yet. I don’t normally schedule in too much over the weekend but this was a rare exception. In case you didn’t hear, the goop summit kicked off in Vancouver with events running right through the weekend.
In short the summit this weekend was an intimate take on LA’s 600+ person retreats. Complete with a goop pop-up shop in Stanley Park Pavilion, expert-led panel discussions, transformational workshops & breakout sessions and a retail space where you can test out and shop the best in clean beauty and wellness. While you’re at it, get a B12 vitamin shot from Fig Facial for a blend of vitamins, minerals & amino acids. They’ve thought of everything — If you move fast, you can probably still catch it over on my Stories.
Anyway, the focus of the weekend was wellness — a topic I have discussed here at length. One thing I’ve learned over the years, that is essential to my wellness are candles. Scoff if you will, but candles bring me a sense of calm and comfort. Sure they’re pretty, come in all kinds of gorgeous vessels and containers and make for great decor but they also help my mood and make me happy. We always have a few lit in our home at all times and I like to switch out different scents for different times of the year.
