Did you catch my Instagram takeover on Coquitlam Centre’s IG account today?? They gave me the keys to their Instagram channel for the day to share how I got almost all of my Christmas shopping done in one stop! (Miracle, I know.) I nearly had a heart attack when I realized there are only 12 more sleeps until Christmas… I’ve been so focused on work lately that I have barely had a chance to make a dent in my Christmas list, so when the team over at Coquitlam Centre invited me to come and experience Christmas at Coquitlam Centre (via the brand new Evergreen Skytrain Expansion) I jumped at the chance.
You may have heard the new Evergreen line has recently opened ahead of schedule, which now stops just steps away from Coquitlam Centre. Perfect since the weather in Vancouver has been so unpredictable lately, it was great to just hop on the skytrain and not have to worry about road conditions. Not only did I not have to drive in the snow but I got caught up on my inbox on the ride there! (major bonus points).
I hadn’t been to this shopping mall in YEARS, so there have been a lot of new updates and it looks so stunning, especially right now for Christmas. Not to mention, something I didn’t know – Coquitlam Centre is the only shopping centre in the Greater Vancouver Regional District offering favourites like Hudson’s Bay, London Drugs, David’s Tea, Sport Check, T & T Supermarket, H&M, Aritzia, Plenty, Sephora, Lululemon, Golf Town, Old Navy, Walmart and Best Buy (to name a few might I add), all in one convenient location. Something for everyone on your list!
Coquitlam Centre is located in the heart of the Tri-Cities and features over 910,000 square feet of retail on two spacious levels. In case you are driving in, there are four parking lots surrounding the mall so there’s ALWAYS ample parking available even throughout the worst of the Christmas rush. Another thing that really stood out to me was that Coquitlam Centre was just awarded BOMA BEST Level 3 Certification, which demonstrates that the centre is moving towards excellence in energy & environmental performance through better management (For more info on this read here) – now this is something I can get behind.
In case you are buying for the girl who has everything or say, your brothers who don’t give any hints as to what they might actually want, grabbing gift cards is the perfect solution. Coquitlam Centre offers endless options for the picky people on your list and with all these amazing shops it would be almost impossible for them NOT to find something they love.
It was so exciting to visit Privilege at Coquitlam Centre and see the pieces I co-designed with them for ‘The Collective’ in-stores. I’ve linked my pieces and a few other favourites from Privilege in the shopping widget below:
I’ve also linked some of the goodies I picked up at Sephora, from gifts under $50 to great stocking stuffer options:
Well, we shopped till we dropped and I can officially say that with the help of Coquitlam Centre, my list has gotten A LOT shorter! Hoping you’ll have the chance to visit for yourself before Christmas arrives to check it out. If you are arriving by the Evergreen Line, this Friday Coquitlam Centre will be hosting a skytrain pop-up party at the station so be sure to stop by for some delicious treats and prizes. Happy holidays!
