STRIPE MINIDRESS: TWO WAYS

I’ve never met a stripe I didn’t like. It’s true. Something about stripes is so easy, effortless Sunday to me and a constant staple in my closet. I recently ordered this grey striped minidress ($50 & the softest material) and I’ve been living in it ever since. Since the weather has been a bit more cooperative the last little while, it’s been nice to be able to wear things that can easily transition with the changing season.

I swear I could smell Spring the other day and it made me excited for Easter. I love Easter long weekend and it’s a pretty big deal in our family. If we don’t make it to the cabin we’ll usually spend the weekend with family over big family dinners and brunches. I’m always on the lookout more comfortable dresses that look put-together without really having to do anything but throw it on and finish with shoes and accessories.

Scroll down to see how I wore it, two ways:

I paired it causally with white trainers for a more low-key, casual vibe and with OTK boots and accessories to dress it up a bit. I prefer to invest in clothing that can be versatile and worn in different ways so I can create lots of different looks using the same pieces. That’s also why I tend to stick to neutrals most of the time, you end up having more to work with because you can mix and match.

As always you can shop the post below using LIKEtoKNOW.it, I also linked this dress in the jersey grey version. Happy Friday!
