I am so excited to finally be able to share a little surprise I’ve been working on over the past couple months! The team at Privilege Clothing approached me to co-design three pieces for ‘The Collective’ fall capsule collection. Following the success of my first capsule collection with JOUE Design (a home accessory line of curated throw pillows), I jumped at the chance to develop and design a small line of clothing for my favourite season of the whole year!
I really wanted this collection to reflect my personal style and represent pieces that I adore this time of year and always reach for in my own closet. In developing the collection, it was important to me that we create pieces that built off each other and that can be worn and mixed-and-matched again and again with other great fall staples.
The Collective by TWG includes three curated staple pieces, all focused around sophisticated layers and created to build multiple different outfits.
The City Tee
The City Tee is a soft, white, basic tee with a beautiful back detail. I like to use the City Tee as my based with my favourite cardigans and blue jeans – it’s the perfect base to any fall outfit.
The Autumn Cardi
The Autumn Cardi is SO soft and comes in a great neutral tone. It also has double front pockets to stash your phone, change or lipstick and can be used as a light shell for mild evenings or a cozy layer under your winter jacket. It’s so cozy I want to wear it all the time, the perfect layer to transition with the season.
The Sophie Trench
The Sophie Trench coat is available in a rich navy tone, a color I’m really loving this season. If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed my recent obsession with draped front cardigans, so I had to incorporate this trend to our trench. The front-draped detailing gives movement to the structured design and I love the way it hangs comfortably, finishing off the look effortlessly. Pair overtop of your favourite pair of dark denim or dress up your look with a pencil skirt and button down — this coat is a perfect transitioning piece and one that can easily be pulled back out for Spring and Summer.
