I hope you all had a wonderful weekend celebrating Mother’s Day with your mamas, nanas, aunts, sisters…etc. I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with the important women in my life and it’s something I crave more of, the older I get. We had so much fun catching up over brunches, rosé and afternoons in the garden. Also managed to squeeze in a little shopping at Nordstrom and I picked up a few new beauty products I’ll share with you later!
Remember this summer gingham outfit I posted from this post at the tulip fields? Well I traded my hunter boots for something a little more polished and put together for this weekend’s Mother’s Day brunch. I changed the way I styled the two pieces by tucking in the top, since the shorts are high waisted and look really cute pulled together (rather than how I wore it last time, here) and adding espadrilles sandals and a white overcoat.
No matter what I’m investing in, whether it’s expensive or not it’s really nice to be able to style the look differently for different occasions and this one fits the bill! I know it’ll make many appearances to summer bbq’s and get-togethers over the next couple of months.
P.S. how gorgeous are these Landeau roses!? Shop the Landeau Collection here.
