I’m excited to officially announce my new product line, launching in partnership with Canadian luxury brand Lark + Ives.

Here’s the thing.
I’m a handbag girl. I think it completes the look + the virgo in me loves to organize what’s inside. My two favourite types of handbags would have to be tote bags and crossbody bags. I love the spacious nature + look of the tote, and I love the essentialism of a crossbody.

I’ve had a zillion tote bags, in all shapes, structures + sizes and there’s always one main problem I have with them. Their lack of organization. How many times have you rushed to grab an item out of your bag, only the fumble around for 10 mins? My husband literally started calling me Mary Poppins because whenever he seems to need something, my bag suddenly turns into this bottomless pit.

So, when it came time to design a handbag for Lark + Ives, I already knew the task at hand. We needed to create a beautiful, high quality, spacious (yet perfectly mid-size) tote bag that included optimal storage. We went one step further and designed a chic divider insert that can organize all your daily essentials, while also being removable and wearable as a completely different bag.

It’s really special looking back at these photos now, now that my son is here! It took us nine months from start to finish to bring this to life. I worked on it the entire time I was pregnant and now that it’s finally completed and ready to be worn by others makes me so happy I could burst.
