SUNDAY DINNER

Growing up, it was a family tradition to have Sunday dinners around the dinning room table. It felt so comforting, smelling my mom’s roasted chicken cooking from downstairs, as I’d organize my room for the week ahead (lol nothing’s changed). It always felt good to connect over an amazing meal, and sundays for some reason always felt a little more special than any regular day of the week.

Sunday dinners are something that I want to continue for my own kids – traditions, if you haven’t noticed are important to me. So, this past sunday night we gathered around our own kitchen table to eat, connect and re-group. I’m sure as my kid(s) get older, this will feel even more important to me, than it does now.

To set the table, I love using ceramics from local brand, Fable. They’ve been my go-to for a few years now, and every piece we’ve added to our growing collection has seamlessly fit in with the rest. I love that each piece is unique, but can be mixed + matched, no matter the color-way. Here, I’ve actually mixed the Beachgrass Green with the Dove Gray dishes to add some depth & dimension. We still do Sunday dinners every week, and they’re not always fancy, but I do try to do something extra. Those dishes are beautiful. Where did you find the candlesticks? ‘***’
