09 | WHAT’S IN MY BAG

I pack my bag, depending on my mood – sometimes there’s not much I need and other times, I’m a chronic over-packer – I like to be prepared! Growing up, I always LOVED flipping through magazines to find out what was currently sitting inside my most idolized celebs handbags, so we decided to make it a regular series, here on the blog. Gives me a chance to share what I’m currently coveting and gives you a chance to see what I’m actually using on the day-to-day (on-the-go).

MY FALL HANDBAG ESSENTIALS:

+ hand sanitizer: Dr. Bronner’s lavender hand sanitizer smells amazing & isn’t harsh. I normally carry my Touchland mists in every bag, but I’m all out!! Until I get more refills, this is the next best thing.

+ hair claw: it’s like my high school style was resurrected with all the fun hair clips & claws you can find these days. I always keep an extra claw in my bag, in case I need to throw my hair back – which these days happens often.

+ freshies: I keep these in my bag at all times. They’re made with ingredients like aloe vera, organic cranberry, vanilla & coconut water and perfect for post-workouts, sticky hands, or just a mid-day facial refresh.

+ lip gloss / mini lipsticks: my 2 favourite day-time beauty staples from Nars & Charlotte Tilbury both come in minis [that now live in my purse]. If were talking lip balm, I always carry Fresh on me.

+ hand cream: I’ve been a fan of Aesop for years, and will never get tired of this scent. Its light & gives extreme hydration to dry hands.

+ refreshing facial mist: obsessed with Wander Beauty’s Mist Connection essence + toner. It gives an extra dose of hydration when you need it throughout the day. I keep the mini travel size in my bag so I can re-apply to avoid dry, dull skin. The mini version is currently sold out, but Ill link the full size as well, because I promise you’ll love it!

+ sunglasses: these were under $20! Love them so much, I got them in 3 colors. They go with everything.

+ cards & coins: less is more. All I need is my driver’s license, a credit card, and some cash so instead of a bulky wallet, I prefer using coin purses or very slim pouches. Lark + Ives has a few cute options like this one & this one.
