2021 GIFT GUIDE: SYDNEY’S IT-LIST

All year long, I’m taking notes on the things that work, things I love + things that generally make my life easier or more enjoyable. Knowing what I know now, there are definitely some things I can’t live without. To kick off my Gift Guide Series, here is my it-list of things that I’ve tried, tested + approved.

slippers | gua sha | reusable travel mug | elemis pro-collagen rose cleansing balm | palo santo | olive oil | saucepan brush | orchid facial oil | agave lip serum | terracotta pot | always pan | saje diffuser | summer fridays lip balm | baies diptique candle | AD coffee table book | nespresso vertuo coffee machine | wood stool | nécessaire body ritual set |

+ slippers: there are so many cozy ones, at all price points! These ones from ugg are so pretty (and you know they’ll last forever) but these ones from Amazon are just as cute & half the price. They come in tons of colors, too.

+ gua sha: one facial tool I can’t live without. I’ve gone through periods of time when I’m using it every night, and time where I don’t and I can say that without a doubt, I notice a pretty significant difference in my skins look, feel and appearance. Plus, doing a 3 min facial massage with my favourite oil is a really nice way to wind down after a busy day.

+ travel mug: this one‘s great for travel because it’s collapsable!

+ pro-collagen rose cleansing balm: I’ve raved about this one over + over bc it’s really just THAT good. Hands down my all-time favourite facial cleanser – it’s rich, buttery & melts makeup & impurities right off your skin. Smells amazing, too.

+ palo santo: I love burning palo santo in our home to help clear the air and cleanse our space. I also love shopping for palo santo & incense at Woodlot.

+ olive oil: perfect for the cook on your list! Plus, this one looks cute sitting on your kitchen counter.

+ saucepan brush: we love these ones (instead of gross plastic ones)

+ orchid antioxidant facial oil: this oil is my favourite to use, following the Elemis pro-collagen rose cleansing balm. The best combo & the smell is incredible.

+ agave lip serum: I discovered this lip serum in the summer & it’s bomb. It’s ideal to use it to prep your lips before applying lipstick (especially if you’re a fan of matte lipsticks, like me) to avoid any weird pilling or cracking. I love it by itself, too for a sleek, polished look. The Agave color gives a hint of pink to your pout, just the right amount.

+ terracotta pot: I’m always looking for unique & interesting items to fill my (soon-to-be) bookshelves. Found this one on Amazon, at a really great price.

+ always pan: okay, I SWEAR by this pan!! At first, I thought they were just really cute & cleverly designed, but they are absolutely non-toxic & cook and clean like a dream. Highly recommend.

+ saje diffuser: a great way to integrate essential oils into your lifestyle. Also great to cleanse the air, after cooking.

+ summer fridays lip balm: love this stuff; it’s silky, vegan and hydrates & soothes dry lips.

+ diptyque candle: my favourite scent from diptyque (my favourite candles on earth).

+ Architecture Digest coffee table book: it’s still on my list.

+ Nespresso Vertuo Coffee Machine: hands down, best coffee – every time. Well worth it!

+ wood pedestal: another (affordable) item I would style in our bookshelves! So cute.

+ nécessaire body ritual set: can’t recommend their products enough! Clean, non-toxic formulas and I’m obsessed with the Eucalyptus scent! This set is a great one to start with if you are new to the brand.
