I had put pink on a bit of a hiatus, but lately it seems to be making a comeback in my closet… just in time for Valentines.

We don’t exchange gifts or do anything too crazy for Valentines day, but that’s just because we basically do what we would do for VDay on any regular night. We love our evenings after work, catching up on our days and cooking dinner at home together over a bottle of wine, before watching movies with our pup until heading to bed at 11. The perfect night for this grandma!

If we were to go out though, this look is super easy to pull together day or night. For a daytime look I paired these blush trousers with a cozy knit, underneath one of my favourite coats from the collection, open toed booties and a cozy fringe scarf.

If I were to transition to night, I might just swap the knit for a lighter blouse in a similar tone and add lipstick. I’m currently loving this pretty nude colour from Charlotte Tilbury because it goes with everything and gives just a hint of colour when you need it.
