PATIO SEASON

Patio season is finally upon us!!! I just put the finishing touches on our outdoor patio and the weather is finally cooperating, so it’s time to enjoy. One of my all-time favourite summer drinks is a chilled fruity sangria. I loooovvvee drinks that are really cold (aka: heavy on the ice – I even put ice in my wine), add fresh fruit and a good wine and I’m in.

I came across this recipe online & thought it would be the perfect refreshing beverage to sip this weekend, one I know my husband would appreciate (since he’s Spanish but also always down for a “girlie” drink). Here’s what you’ll need & how to make it:

Sliced strawberries

HOW TO MAKE PEACH TEA SANGRIA:

+ In a large pitcher combine white wine, Pure Leaf Peach Hibiscus Herbal Iced Tea, brandy and simple syrup.
+ Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
+ Before serving add garnish if you like, I added frozen blueberries & mint from my garden.
