We are 6 days out from Christmas and thank god I’m not scrambling around, searching for gifts! This year I finally got my act together, but I know how it feels to be counting down the clock to the big reveal and feeling super stressed for time.

To be honest, I think the whole gift-giving thing has gotten out of hand. Gifts don’t need to be overly complicated, cost a lot of money or time. You just need to be creative. I like to build gift combinations based on what that person likes. For example, if your sister was into stationary you could gift her a cute new 2020 planner with some matching pens and some little sticky notes to jot down all her ideas.

If your cousin is a bit of a homebody you could gift her a beautiful candle and a monogrammed mug with her favourite tea inside. It’s all in how you position the gift IMO.

Not the most obvious gift-destination, but when I recently visited to shop for my own list I was shocked at the selection. Look for brands like Ban.do, Gry Mttr and Goods Supply Co. to name a few.
