WHAT I’M PACKING FOR AUGUST LONG

Can we agree – no matter how near or far you’re going, nothing makes travel feel smoother than being organized. I should preface by saying, this never used to be me. I always left packing to the last minute, usually feeling scattered, leading to forgetting something because I was disorganized.

Over the last couple years I feel like I’ve finally got the systems in place to make packing a breeze. It’s actually kinda fun now, the trick is finding the right products for the job – not always super obvious.

Today I’m breaking down my tips on how to pack annoying necessities like beauty products and dainty jewelry. Read on for more..

Lifestyle blogger Sydney Socias shares her packing solutions and tips on how to pack beauty products and dainty jewelry.

LET’S TALK PACKING SOLUTIONS

Packing products: a while ago, I ordered this travel cosmetics case and it’s been such a lifesaver ever since. It’s great for travel; sturdy, lightweight and roomy enough for all your favourite products. I also like it because it’s durable and easy to clean if something ends up spilling. I have the beige colour but it also comes in black.

Packing jewelry: I love to layer lots of tiny necklaces and bracelets together for a minimal approach, but have you ever tried lugging your jewels with you on vacay??? NIGHTMARE. Everything gets tangled in seconds and I end up spending what feels like lifetimes trying to get them all loose. Enter the Jewelry Travel Wallet by my gorgeous friend & owner of Leah Alexandra. It keeps every piece in place no matter your mode of transportation. I’ve tested and it’s been approved! Comes in black, too.

These might seem like basic ideas (and they are) but trust me when I say that they’ve made the biggest difference to even just my attitude towards packing. Everything is neat, organized and in place and that alone gives me pieces of mind that 1) I’m not forgetting anything and 2) so I can relax and enjoy wherever we’re going!
