When it comes to holiday decorations I like to keep things low-key. I’m not crazy about all the cutesy, tacky decorations we all remember from childhood. No. I like a ‘hint’ of holiday. Just enough to acknowledge and celebrate but not enough to go overboard.

Since I moved out I’ve slowly been collecting pieces that really love or things I find on sale. Mid-way through October, retailers start discounting their Halloween loot to make sure they get it off the shelves. I went to Michaels recently for something unrelated and found a whole section of amazing Halloween decorations for 60% off.
